- Art springs forth in different ways…not always fully clothed. I started innocently making my version of Malcolm Morely’s cows. That led to more animals in Fallbrook landscapes and then digressed to the near desert, mountains, etc. I was experimenting with watercolors on heavily gessoed canvases, which I love. The paint can be floated on the surface so that it moves around, or even wiped off or into with various tools. Like the goat, what next?!
